TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

Sa̲n'yas Indigenous-Specific Anti-Racism Training (“Sa̲n'yas”) exists as a training program of the Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”). As a condition of my participating in Sa̲n'yas, I agree to the following:

 

1. CONFIDENTIALITY

1. I will keep confidential all materials as part of Sa̲n'yas as well as any accompanying materials from PHSA which includes comments made by me or other participants in Sa̲n'yas, all non-public materials, content, information, data, and resources provided, or made accessible by PHSA in connection with Sa̲n'yas (the “Training Materials”).

2. I will not make or cause to be made copies, pictures, or other reproductions or recordings of any type, create any abstracts or summaries or in any other way disclose any of the Training Materials to any other person without prior written consent of Sa̲n'yas.

3. I will only use the Training Materials for the purposes of completing Sa̲n'yas.

 

2. LIMITS

1. I will not use generative artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools or apps for any aspect of Sa̲n'yas, including tools like ChatGPT or other AI writing or coding assistants, nor will I enter any of the Training Materials into generative AI tools.

2. I will not copy or paraphrase from any generative AI application for the purpose of completing Sa̲n'yas, nor will I use the content of other training participants in any AI applications.

3. I will not use the information, tools or any other aspect of Sa̲n'yas in a way that infringes or violates another person’s rights.

4. I understand that the use of generative AI tools in Sa̲n'yas is unauthorized and will disqualify me from completing the training program.

5. I understand that once my assigned learning group begins its course session, my participation in Sa̲n'yas becomes non-transferable and non-refundable (the “Training Seat”).

6. I understand that the Training Seat constitutes one attempt at Sa̲n'yas, and that any future participation in Sa̲n'yas will require the purchase of a new Training Seat.

 

3. OWNERSHIP

1. All materials or property provided or made accessible to me related to or in association with the Sa̲n'yas will be the sole and exclusive property of Sa̲n'yas as a training program of PHSA.

2. Any information entered into Sa̲n'yas by me will be the sole and exclusive property of Sa̲n'yas as a training program of PHSA.

 

4. TRAINING CONTENT

1. I acknowledge that Sa̲n'yas as a training program of PHSA makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding information associated with, or content of Sa̲n'yas.

2. I acknowledge that Sa̲n'yas as a training program of PHSA will not be liable for any loss, claim or damage arising out of or in connection with my participation or my actions in Sa̲n'yas, including any actions contrary to the Limits set out in these Terms of Participation.
